I have talked about this little mascara trick on my YouTube channel, I featured it on HSN’s Beauty Report, and now I am telling you this amazing secret here incredibly simple, yet nobody does it. I can’t tell you how many times I have opened a new mascara tube and told myself I would remember the date. I NEVER remember and it’s not a silver moment I just have so many other beauty related ideas running through my mind that I forget.
It’s not a big deal to forget the date you opened your mascara tube until you get an eye infection, have a dry tube right before a big event, and there is no time to run out and buy another one. You should be replacing it every three months. I love labeling everything and started using my super handy labeler to mark the date on my mascara tube. I never have to guess what day or month it was when I first started using my mascara. Genius I know lol.
I included the HSN Beauty Report show in this post where I not only show you my simple trick, but I also tell you when you should be replacing a couple of your other everyday beauty products. Trust me you will be happy to have new products that look fresh on your face.
If you don’t have a label maker, you can always mark the date in your planner or on your phone. I like to see the date right on the tube, I don’t want to run around looking for the date in my planner (seriously who knows where that is most mornings) or searching for it on my digital device. This tip should be on the top of your list to try out if you are not already labeling your mascara.
