Black Swan Makeup Tutorial

I remember sitting in the dark theater thinking how creepy Black Swan was and still to this day I am still not quite sure if Lily was the Black Swan or another character.  It’s definitely a movie where you go out after for a glass of wine and try and put the pieces together and listen to other peoples views on what they thought really went on.

We filmed at Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet Studio and if you are looking to get those amazing legs that ballet dancers have you can take one of their many adult classes from classic ballet to BootyBarre throughout the week. I will let you know how the BootyBarre class is as I want to rock sexy ballet legs by New Years Eve.

I wanted to do this look for you girls since Halloween is this week and The Black Swan showcases dramatic over the top makeup. When I was writing out my script I thought “You can’t be THE BLACK SWAN without a knockout costume!!”  I collaborated with Amanda Perna former Project Runway contestant and designer and creator of The House Of Perna to make my costume. Who knew you could make a crown out of glue?  Amanda shows you step by step on how to create this costume in her DIY Black Swan video.
