Butter LONDON Shadow Clutch Review + Swatches
I have to say butter LONDON has impressed me with their on-trend cosmetics lately. I have been an obsessed fan of their nail polishes for years so when I heard that butter London was expanding into the cosmetic world, I wanted to, of course, pop some expensive champagne to celebrate (I am always looking for an excuse to pop champagne). If you haven’t seen my review on butter LONDON’s Brilliant Lip Crayons, you can find it HERE.
Today I am reviewing one of their ultimate colour accessories Butter LONDON Shadow Clutch. This eyeshadow palette has six gorgeous shades that are primer-infused, oil absorbing and skin-balancing. These eyeshadows come in irresistible go-to hues and textures with a dual-ended brush for easy application.
The best part of this palette is that it is customizable YES!!!! You can create the colours you want and how you want them. Let’s face it girls in the beauty world you wish to be creative, and everyone doesn’t use the same colours at the same time.
The ShadowClutch allows you to mix and match eye shadow shades that fit your personality and style. It’s incredibly easy to switch out the shadows as you can see in my picture below. Now when I look at an eyeshadow pallet, I feel it’s behind the times because I can’t create my version of it.
butter LONDON sent me two different Wardrobe Duos (Fancy Flutter and Moody Blues) to interchange with the shadows that came in the Natural Charm ShadowClutch. I was amazed at how easy it was to pop open the top of the ShadowClutch and slide the shadows out and replace them. Inside the packaging, you will find a little cheat sheet on how to replace your shadows.
Colors that come in the Natural Charm palette:
Top Row:
Linen, Quartz, Camo
Bottom Row:
Camel, Citrine, Leather
The Wardrobe Duos:
Moody Blues $15 (palette on the left) Top: Sequins Bottom: Sapphire
Fancy Flutter $15 Top: Feather Bottom: Plume
The shadows are highly pigmented ranging from everyday neutrals to eye-catching trending colours retailing at $39. Take an eye on the colour swatch below.
My thoughts: I am always a huge fan of neutral shadows, so this palette is something that I could use every day. I like the velvety texture of these shadows and the built in primer. The packaging makes for an easily wearable color collection to take with you for travel or touch up’s on the go. The packaging is also durable enough to withstand being tossed around in your purse without breaking the shadows. I love how I can customize this palette with new shadows whenever I feel that I want to kick it up a notch depending on my mood.
I featured ShadowClutch in Natural Charm in this post, but you also have the option of another gorgeous palette called Pretty Proper. Check out the full collection on butter London’s website. If you are dying to get your hands on these shadows, you can also purchase butter London at Ulta.
