Fresh Beauty Studio

I was looking for a skin care line that was unique and possessed unique qualities that I haven’t seen on the market. I was introduced to Farmacy’s Beauty Seedling Kit (on sale now $52) and fell in love with the first swipe of lavender mint lip bloom and thought to write a Farmacy Beauty Review.

Farmacy Beauty is farm-grown, hand-picked botanicals that infuse age-old wisdom with cutting-edge technologies to create irritant-free bio-active formulations that support the skin’s renewal and defense cycles. Powered by Echinacea GreenEnvy a unique, patent-protected variant of Echinacea Purpurea that contains the highest known concentration of Cichoric Acid, a natural phyto-essence that provides the plant’s restorative properties. It’s a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

I loved how the products came in a wooden box, feeling the texture of the wood grounds you and makes you enter into the natural world of Farmacy Beauty. The first product that I reached for was the Lip Bloom ($16). I literally can’t go to bed without having a lip balm on my lips. So with this said you can image how picky I am when it comes to the right texture, smell, feel and moisturizing properties of a lip balm. If I wake up in the morning, and my lips are parched, I will throw out the product I was using immediately (I know a little harsh but Mama needs hydrated lips).

I went back and forth using the Lavender Mint and Citrus Lemongrass scents. I loved them both but tend to lean more towards the Lavender Mint. They both delivered a fresh moisture replenishing and protective lip treatment whether I was using it at night or during the day. My lips were soothed and extremely hydrated when I woke up in the morning, they felt fuller which is a HUGE plus (pardon the pun). The secure packaging makes it clean and no fuss. I have one on my nightstand and one in my traveling cosmetic bag.

Another product that I am always on the look out for is rich, moisturizing night balms. I was thrilled to see that Farmacy has a Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm ($48). This night balm is a little different than the ones I have used in the past. I am used to heavy thick balms that sometimes are a little too heavy depending on the season. This night balm is lightweight, not heavy or greasy. It reinforces the skin’s natural moisture content, firms, tones and restores the elasticity while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I haven’t been a huge fan of exfoliating grains like the ones found in Farmacy’s New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains ($30). I never feel that I get an excellent deep clean using grains. I have combination skin so it can take more of an aggressive exfoliation. If you have sensitive skin and like a mild exfoliating cleanse you would love Farmacy’s exfoliating grains. They are a potent, all-inclusive skin care treatment, the grains cleanse, exfoliate and clarify in one step for fresh, clear skin. They are ideal for traveling you just need to add water.

Hydrating gel masks have been on my radar for some time now. I use them in my facial room on my clients, when I am traveling or anytime my skin feels really dehydrated.  Gel masks are the perfect masks to stash in my travel bag because they are pre-moistened. I was excited to see that Farmacy has a beautiful collection of Hydrating Coconut Gel Masks ranging from soothing, anti-wrinkle to oil control.  Farmacy’s Hydrating Coconut Gel Masks ($24) use the power of Echinacea GreenEnvy and farm fresh extracts activated by a bio-cellulose sheet of unprecedented structure and design. I tried out the Anti-Wrinkle mask of course, which is activated by vitamin A and rich in rhubarb extract. This mask helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles leaving my skin smoother and younger looking.

Farmacy claims to have the most finely spun sheet mask available; I say it’s just pure heaven on my face. The mask is extremely cooling on my skin, and the coconut gel provides intensive hydration and restores my skin’s balance. The bio-cellulose sheet releases its complex components to provide the skin’s surface layers with a penetrating surge of active ingredients. After about 20-25 minutes relaxing with the gel mask on my face, I can see my skin appears to be brighter, more hydrated, firmer, calmer and more refined.

Overall I loved using Farmacy Beauty; I find these products are the perfect collection to travel with as they add everything I need into the convenient packaging. Farmacy addresses hydrating like no one else with their Sleep Tight Firming night balm to their hydrating coconut gel masks.
