Perfect Holiday Blow Out

The holidays are here and there is no better time to bring your BIG bold hair game to all your cocktail parties and events this season. I have three simple tricks below to ramp up your volume blow dry game.

Turn up the Volume

Step One-Prep Yourself

Using a volume shampoo and conditioner like Kerastase Resistance Bain Volumifique.

• Provides internal structure and reinforcement for long-lasting hold
• Expands hair fiber for amplified volume
• Controls frizz, and adds shine without weight

Work a dime-size amount of volumizing cream (my favorite is Kerastase Form Fatale it smells amazing!) through damp hair. This voluptuous blow-dry gel formula has a heat-stying protective agent added.

Step Two-Build Body

Blow dry your hair using your fingers and fluffing your hair until it’s fifty percent dry. Using a round brush and hairdryer, lift the roots to create volume.

Step Three-Add Height and Lasting Volume

While your hair is still warm from blowing it out, take a few small sections from the crown, wrap them around large velcro rollers and secure with clips. Let the shape set for five to ten minutes, then lightly shake your head upside down and lightly brush out your big sexy hair.
