Hot Pink Luncheon with Stacy London
You better believe that I wouldn’t miss out on a Hot Pink Luncheon, not only because it was to support our fight against Breast Cancer but fashion and style guru Stacy London was the featured guest speaker. Ever since I let my grey stripe come out, I can’t tell you how many people come up to me and first ask if it’s real and then say “Oh that reminds me of that girl on “What Not To Wear.” I didn’t watch Stacy’s show on TLC so I had no clue what people were referring to until I googled it, so it was nice to finally see her in person. The luncheon was truly inspiring to see women come in all shades of pink to support, show courage and unite.
Hosted by The Boca Hotel and Resort, 1600 ladies gathered to help raise money for the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. This year marks the 11th annual Go Pink Luncheon. The theme was “High Fashion” with a live auction featuring a once-in-a-lifetime New York Fashion Week Experience with Donna Karan and Saks Fifth Avenue.
The Menu was absolutely delish; guests enjoyed “Chef Garden” Roasted Beet and Citrus Salad, Organic Breast of Chicken, Preserved Lemon Hummus, Tender Greens with Banyuls Sherry Vinaigrette, Served with a Sea Salt Crisp.
We finished off this beautiful meal with “Lady Cake” Citrus Shortcake Red Berries and Vanilla Chantilly Cream.
If you love fashion and style this was the ultimate event to attend to help raise money to fight Breast Cancer. I was thrilled that we all walked away with Stacy London’s New York Times Bestselling book “The Truth About Style.”
