I know it’s almost taboo for women over forty to wear shorts, but choosing the right length is the real secret. It’s so hot here in South Florida you are almost crazy not to have a couple of pairs of go-to shorts when the temperature hits 95 degrees. In today’s post, I am sharing some styles that make you look and feel incredible.
The key is to find the length that it’s not too short or too long. I find that wearing too short of shorts doesn’t give my body a streamline look and I find wearing too long makes my body look to hippy and weighted down. I found a happy medium wearing a short like the ones in this photo shoot that are mid-thigh. Not only do I feel comfortable but I look comfortable too.
Another issue that I would like to point out is wearing too tight of shorts is not flattering. Knowing your body type and styles that accentuate your figure is key to pulling off shorts for women over forty. I picked out a couple of designers that fit extremely well and are true to size. These are a beautiful addition to your closet and to have for those last-minute backyard cocktail hours.
